Once you create a Bit document you can create a trackable link that you can share with anyone. You'll be able to track when the document was accessed, how frequently it was accessed and how much time was spent on the document.
We're going to walk you through all the steps of creating a trackable document and then studying the results of the engagement levels.

👉🏼1. After you are done creating your document, click the 'More button' on the top right hand corner of the top bar.
👉🏼2. Select the 'Share' option.
👉🏼3. Select 'Turn on sharing.'
👉🏼4. Go to the third option Share Trackable Link and click on 'Create Link.'
👉🏼5. Customize your trackable link settings by adding a custom document title for your recipient, add internal notes for quick search, add an optional lead capture form, create a password, set an expiration date and set your email notification settings.
👉🏼6. Next a pop up will come up showing the trackable link you created. You can now share it with your audience. 💡Bit Tip: If you'd like to see the view your visitor would see, open it up in an incognito window or another browser where you're not signed into Bit.
👉🏼7. If you set your email notification settings to receive an email when someone opens the document, you can click the button in that email to view the results of the visit.
👉🏼8. You also can also click on 'Trackable links' on the main side panel.
👉🏼9. Next, locate your trackable link and click on it to open up the slider where you can see the views, visitors, feedback and adjust the trackable link settings you create.
